Konica Minolta is launching its new portfolio of A4 mono printers, All in One devices and multifunction printers (MFPs). Offering enhanced performance and modern interfaces for effortless operation, the portfolio delivers reliability, quality and economy across a range of low-footprint A4 devices. Encompassing everything from premium, highly customisable enterprise-class MFPs to cost-effective out-of-the-box printing solutions for small offices, the new portfolio meets the full scope of monochrome imaging requirements.
Sophisticated, full-featured A4 solutions – bizhub 4052 and bizhub 4752 MFPs
Konica Minolta’s new high-end A4 models succeed the existing bizhub 4050 and 4750. They share the IT5 architecture of Konica Minolta’s A3 devices and provide the same functionality and familiar user experience through identical interfaces. As with their A3 siblings, the new A4 MFPs fully support server-based as well as embedded applications and cloud connectors, which allows for easier customisation of the user interface (UI). The bizhub 4052 and 4752 are the first Konica Minolta A4 devices with dual scan feeders – improving on the performance of their predecessors with faster scan speeds of up to 94 ipm in duplex.
Elsewhere, increased memory (2GB as standard / 4GB max) enables faster operation. The new models also support mobile device connectivity, including NFC to enable easy-to-use features such as touch-to-print, touch-to-scan, touch-to-authenticate and touch-to-pair. Services such as AirPrint, Google Cloud Print and Mopria are included.
Ideal everyday All in One devices – bizhub 3622 and bizhub 4422
The new bizhub 3622 and bizhub 4422 All in One devices are an affordable, compact option for customers requiring print, copy, scan and fax functionality but without the need for special customisation. While the 36 ppm bizhub 3622 provides an ideal out-of-the-box MFP solution for small offices or for workgroups at an SMB level, the 44 ppm bizhub 4422 caters to more demanding situations with faster speeds, broader input options, a 4.3-inch LCD touch panel with an intuitive user interface and other more advanced features. Both printers also offer further capabilities such as an optional barcode or IPDS function. The bizhub 3622 provides Wi-Fi as standard, which caters to small office environments that often have more limited network infrastructure or fewer options to access a nearby Ethernet connection. The bizhub 3622 is the successor to the bizhub 3320, while the bizhub 4422 replaces the bizhub 4020.
Reliable, affordable monochrome printers – bizhub 3602P, bizhub 4402P and bizhub 4702P
The new monochrome A4 printers have been created for small and home offices as well as mixed environments with A3 devices in large departments and enterprise customers, where individual printers are required among A3 devices. This makes them ideal for customers that need reliable high quality from a cost-effective standalone device. The new models succeed the bizhub 3301P/4000P/4700P. Each has been designed to address different needs: the bizhub 3602P offers an “out-of-the-box” solution for customers that do not require different paper input options or further functionality. Compared to the previous model, it offers faster printing at 36 ppm (vs. 33 ppm for the 3301P) and Wi-Fi connectivity as standard. The bizhub 4402P is an ideal device for customers requiring higher speeds at 44 ppm (vs. 40 ppm for the 4000P) and a wider range of paper input capabilities. All devices offer improved performance thanks to higher RAM memory and faster processors than their predecessors, further options such as a barcode or IPDS function to enhance its scope of capabilities as well as mobile printing capabilities. The 47 ppm bizhub 4702P is the device of choice for customers that require fast printing and printing from USB. It also offers a larger capacity than the bizhub 4402P (550-sheets tray vs. 250-sheets tray).
The bizhub 4052, bizhub 4752, bizhub 4422, bizhub 3602P as well as bizhub 4402P and bizhub 4702P will be available from May 2018. Sales for bizhub 3622 will begin by the end of May.
