Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH (Konica Minolta) is launching a new version of the bizhub MarketPlace platform in Europe, adding a variety of applications and helpful features. The bizhub MarketPlace allows MFP’s functionalities to be enhanced by easily adding functions that are required to meet challenges of everyday businesses. The platform will be available throughout Europe from January 2017.
Konica Minolta assists customers in maximising their productivity by offering more flexibility in adapting devices to everyday routines. The bizhub MarketPlace platform allows the functionality of Konica Minolta’s multifunctional products to be easily enhanced by adding apps to the devices without the need to buy expensive software.
Quick access and easy set-up
The possibility to connect to services such as OneDrive, Google Drive or SharePoint provides quick access to documents with the benefit of secure processes and state-of-the-art technology. In order to keep maintenance costs low and productivity high, the initial set-up as well as updates and additional apps are deployed remotely. Since the devices are centrally managed, all applications are kept up-to-date automatically with no extra charges.
As an additional service, the bizhub MarketPlace offers customers the possibility to get a personalised MFP user interface with an individual design and features, which fit within specific workflows and corporate design guidelines. Konica Minolta’s customisation services include consultancy, design and guidance through the individual features and workflows that can be made available on the display of the bizhub. Similar to additional apps or updates, customised user interfaces are deployed remotely, which benefits major enterprises with many staff.
